Nordic SatNav User ConferenceNovember 29th - 30th 2005, the Nordic Institute of Navigation hosted a user conference on satellite navigation in Oslo, Norway. The first section of the conference resumed the current SatNav situation as seen from the Nordic countries. The main focus was, however, on Galileo design and the consequences for practical navigation in the Nordic areas. Besides present SatNav users, the conference brought together academics, designers, equipment suppliers, service providers and policy makers from around the Nordic navigation community.
