A prize ceremony was held at the occasion of the GNSS Interference 2019 seminar in Helsinki on June 12th, 2019 where the prize was awarded to Mr. Søren Larsen by NNF President Professor Heidi Kuusniemi (see photo).

The General Assembly of the NNF decided in 2018 to introduce an annual prize for the best master thesis in the field of navigation and positioning to a student (or students working together) who has been enrolled in a master programme at a university in the Nordic countries and who during 2018 has completed a thesis project of high quality in a topic relevant to the NNF. The submitted theses are scrutinized by two independent experts appointed by the NNF President.

It has been decided by the General Assembly of the NNF to invite new applicants for the prize in 2019.
