Review and Acceptance
Submitted abstracts will undergo review by the technical scientific committee and will be scheduled for presentation at ENC 2027 only if accepted by the reviewers. Abstract will be reviewed as received, so please do not wait until the deadline to submit your abstract. Priority will be given to early submissions. An extension of the submission deadline is not foreseen. Scheduling notifications will be sent to the submitting authors 19 March 2027. To ensure scheduling of a submitted and accepted abstract in the final ENC 2027 programme, the presenting author must be registered as an ENC 2027 delegate by 4 April 2027. ENC 2027 will not cover costs incurred in submitting an oral or poster presentation, or for travel and accommodation costs for presenting authors. Failure to register for ENC 2027 by the set deadline will lead to the withdrawal of your abstract(s).
Withdrawal of abstracts can only be accepted if notified in writing and subsequently confirmed by the ENC 2027 Conference Secretariat. For all enquiries regarding abstracts, please contact the ENC 2027 Conference Secretariat
enc@congressbydesign.com.
Full Paper Submission
Authors of accepted abstracts have the option to submit a full paper. The deadline for full paper submission will be 6 June 2027 (after the conference). Note that submission of a full paper is not required for presentation at the conference, but papers submitted for publication will only enter peer review if presented at the conference. For posters, one of the authors must present it during the Poster Session. Submissions are limited to scientific (research) papers. All submitted papers will undergo a further peer review process.
Publication Policy
Accepted papers will be published in a dedicated volume of the Open Access Journal Engineering Proceedings (ISSN 2673-4591) and in the Conference Proceedings e-Book (with ISBN), both published by MDPI. The creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license will apply, meaning that authors retain copyright and the content can be reused with attribution. All published papers will be assigned a digital object identifier (DOI) and citable.
General Paper Guidelines
Papers should cover high-quality scientific work and create an advance towards the current knowledge that is of interest to the scientific community. Papers should not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Papers must be original and include references where appropriate. Specialized software will be applied to identify potential plagiarism, including self-plagiarism.
In case a paper is deemed to be of a commercial nature only, the conference organizers reserve the right to reject the paper.
Formatting Guidelines
Papers should be written in clear English language. Paper length must be between 4 and 9 pages. Note that this refers to the total page count (including abstract, references, appendices, etc.). The paper length requirement must be strictly complied with.
Paper Reviews
All submitted papers will undergo a further peer review process. Authors who choose to submit a full paper will be invited to review a manuscript within their area of expertise.
