The theses submitted for the 2025-prize were all of a very good quality, illustrating a high level at the university master programs within the field of navigation in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Congratulations to Nadir Khan from Tampere University for the first prize granted for the thesis entitled "Receiver Analysis of Spoofing Detection Algorithms on Texbat and Oakbat Data", and to Akash Shingha Bappy from University of Oulu for the second prize granted for the thesis entitled “Real-Time UAV-Based Geospatial Mapping: Integrating Yolov11 for Road Intersection Detection and Photogrammetry for 3D Terrain Modeling on Edge Devices”.
